Designing for the rich and famous…..celebrity aquariums
Whether it is passion, their uniqueness or being a new wealth symbol one thing is sure…celebrities love aquariums. From footballers, actors and designers, celebrities choose extravagant custom aquariums to install in their exquisite homes. We have put together a list with some of our famous clients and their tank choices.
Kevin Pietersen
The most famous cricketer in England and his wife, Jessica Pietersen, opened Bella and Beau, a hair salon in Notting Hill, aimed at providing a memorable experience for both parents and children.
They approached us through Twitter after many recommendations to create a stunning custom aquarium that will enhance the salon and be the main attraction for their clients.
The 3000 litre saltwater aquarium is the house of beautifully coloured tropical fish including children’s favourites “Nemo” and “Dora”.
Samir Nasri
The French footballer who plays for Manchester City and the France national team has a striking 3000 litre marine aquarium installed in his residence. This tank is surrounded by European Oak and has a bespoke stainless steel light. All the equipment is hidden in a car park basement and the aquarium is virtually silent.
Just last month the footballer has undergone a successful surgery on a groin injury and we hope that his aquarium has helped him through the recovery process. Aquariums are renowned for their health benefits and one celebrity that has admitted to turn to the peace of an aquarium during her recovery from a surgery is Lady Gaga.

The critically-acclaimed and award winning film, television and theatre actress Gillian Anderson has a contemporary freshwater aquarium in her London residence. Her passion for aquarium maybe comes from her interest in marine biology or maybe from her desire of creating a relaxing atmosphere away from the spotlight.
