Structural Engineer

For all structural works associated with installing our aquaria, Tim is our structural consultant with specialist knowledge of glass structures.

Tim has been involved in the design of glass installations since 1985 and has completed many award-winning structures worldwide including the Flagship Apple Stores, the TKTS Glass Pavilion in Times Square and the Yurakacho Canopy in Tokyo, a free standing glass structure with a cantilever span of 10m.

Tim also has extensive experience in new and historic structures working closely with architects and other professionals on such projects as the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Tim has been in practice since 1981 and distinctions include Honorary fellowships of the Royal Institute of British architects and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland.
