Aquarium Architecture was featured in the June/July 2014 edition of European Spa magazine, the leading publication for spa and wellness in Europe.

The aquarium tanks designed by Aquarium Architecture took the first place in their list for the latest furnishings, equipment and finishes. And there is nothing more perfect than an aquarium in a spa and wellness resort as they explained in the editorial.

An aquarium can create a striking focus point in any location as well as become an attraction itself, even increasing the number of clients. Furthermore, although it is nothing new to us, some might not know the amazing health benefits of aquarium tanks. They have been proven to reduce levels of stress and anxiety, help with insomnia, hypertension and many others. Therefore, aquariums in spas can offer a calming and contemplative element to relaxation rooms or reception areas, helping to boost guests’ wellbeing.

With regards to style, aquarium tanks are an essential element according to the Feng Shui principles that is frequently used when designing a spa and wellbeing resort. The presence and movement of water generates positive energy to create tranquility and harmony.
